Running with Lola:

This morning I had a workout scheduled on a high speed tread mill. When it started to get hard, I let my mind go elsewhere. I imagined that I was running with our girl. First she was behind me, coming hard. I could hear her breathing. She caught up, and grabbed my wristin her mouth, with out even breaking her stride! Then she past me, she was so fast, so graceful. She never stopped looking backto make sure I was still there though. I made it through the workout, but more importantly I got an unexpected visit from our old girl.

She will always be there for us when we need her, just like she always was. She's just napping in our hearts, on her bed with her "piggy" there on the floor next to her. Just think about opening a package of cheese when you want to see her, or call her name softly (her hearing is much better now) she'll come running, with those big ears flopping. She'll gently grab your wrist to say HI. remember to watch out for that tail though!

Thank you J-Bird, you have helped me so much through my life. It is true that I would not be the person I am today with out your help and influence. I'm sorry that I could not do the same for you, however I will try my best to help you through this sad time. thank you too, for were it not for you I surely would never have known our sweet girl Lola.

Love,

e
